Snowshoe furniture is made using the same methods that are used for making wooden snowshoes. Steam bent Ash wood frames woven with rawhide to make an attractive pattern that also is very durable and comfortable to sit on. Rawhide furniture is relatively light weight yet strong. It fits in perfectly in a log cabin type setting.
I have shown here the more popular pieces that I make. This rawhide furniture can be shipped. To keep the price down I partially disassemble it. It will arrive in 4 - 8 pieces. You have to be able to reassemble it using a phillips screw driver and either a 3/8 crescent wrench or a 9mm crescent wrench. Instructions provided.
Two shades of finish are available. Dark and blonde. Both of which are relatively flat, not high gloss.
I do not recommend this furniture for outdoor use as rain and weather will ruin it in short order. As indoor furniture it will last a long time.
